The architects for the project are Dan Neuenschwander Architects. Dan Neuenchwander Architects is an award-winning firm that focuses on mixed-use developments and renovations to existing structures. With over 30 years of experience, this firm will deliver a project that is not only distinctive but also vibrant and inviting. They have projects across the United States as well as internationally in Mexico, Panama, Canada and China.
Dan Neuenschwander Architects has been recognized by their peers for excellence in design, creativity and innovation in their work. They have won more than 50 awards since 2007 alone! As such, they will be well equipped to create a space that accentuates the Pearl's desirable features while being sensitive to the environment.
The developers of the Pearl in the City project are the Atlanta Housing Authority and Midtown Development.
Atlanta Housing Authority is a public agency that provides affordable housing to low- and moderate-income families, which includes seniors and persons with disabilities. The Authority also operates job training programs and helps people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless find housing.
Midtown Development is a private company that builds mixed-use communities that provide residents with safe, sustainable living spaces. The company's goal is to create "livable neighborhoods" for a diverse range of residents that promote economic vitality, social cohesion, environmental sustainability, and aesthetic beauty.
